Sovereign wealth investors are becoming an increasingly important source of capital for European real estate. These investors clearly like property, but what sort of property? This session brings together key market players who have worked extensively with sovereign wealth investors, to make clear where — and with whom — their capital will be placed from now on. Moderator Nassos Manginas, Head of Business Development, Continental Europe, IPD (UK) Speakers Fadi Moussalli, Regional Director — International Capital Group, Jones Lang LaSalle (UAE) Richard Yorke, Managing Director EMEA, RCA (UK) Paul Clark, Director of Investment & Asset Management, The Crown Estate (UK)

East Asians are light and want to be lighter.
And in Victorian days, milky porcleain skin was the ideal for Europeans. So I don’t think the “grass is greener” explanation will suffice.

Fall Preview: Looking Forward With Eager Eyes

Fall Preview: Looking Forward With Eager Eyes
A discerning look at the upcoming big screen slate I’ll skip the diatribe about how the year in movies has been so far. It sucks. Let’s look forward. The second half of the year brings everything from film festival favorites and art house Oscar bait to documentaries and big-budget blockbusters.

East Asians are light and want to keep light or be lighter.
And in Victorian era, milky porcleain skin was the ideal for Europeans. So I don’t think the “grass is greener” explanation will suffice.
Thanks for answering, all!

Make-up looking like racoon eyes?

I just saw a photo of Eva Longoria taken at the Cannes Film Festival. I have to be honest, I have said she is beautiful on at least one occasion….not the point here.

What is the point and the question; why are females (especially presumptiously famous ones) painting the eye make-up on so thick it looks like road tar. I mean, I’m not kidding, they’re beginning to look like racoons. Amy Winehouse, Sarah Jessica Parker, Olsen Twins, Lauren Conrad and of course Longoria to name a few have taken to the application of high-gloss Rustoleum spray paint on their eyes. I don’t want this taken as a slam, they are all beautiful….just would somebody please tell them LESS IS MORE!!!

Anybody out there have any explanation for the phenomenon?

For those that agree with me high-five. For those that don’t agree, still high-five for allowing me to vent.

p.s. Question for another day…..the size of sunglasses!? What!? Do you have a part-time job as a welder?
