For those of us who find ourselves spinning so fast that our life seems but a blur, we need to STOP and think about where we are and where we are heading. For those of us whose days blend into each other so much so that we can’t distinguish one day from the next, we need to STOP and think about why each day of our life is the same. For those of us who find it difficult to do the things we always wanted or said we would do and never do them, we need to STOP and think about why we say things we want to do but never do them. For those of us who are so afraid to take the first step off the Island to change for the better, we need to STOP and ask ourselves, what are we afraid of? As the renowned American poet Maya Angelou says, “Life loves the liver of it.” Are you a liver of Life? You can use a unique thing such as learning to speak French fluently to enrich your life because it will expose you to experiences you would not have otherwise.

Robert Byrne states that, “The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” We seem to live purposeless lives in our modern world. Life is about change. The liver of life embraces change and remembers that we all have only one life to live and that time waits for no one. We all know this but so many of us live like prisoners trapped in our own quicksand of excuses and regrets. You have to realize that the answer to change is you. You can change your life and your world. Why couldn’t you learn French and have that as a small purpose to take you onwards and upwards towards change. And why not learn how to speak French online instead of going to a language school? Remember that you must live in the present moment and live each step, big or small, difficult or easy, painful or joyful, and gradually you will discover that you can achieve great things such as the ability to learn French fluently. Even if you find a means to learn French the easy way or attempt to quickly learn French at an immersion school in France, you will have to do the work. One step at a time you can get off your Island. Change is as subtle as learning to speak French.

Why learn to speak French fluently? It can be the catalyst that can accelerate the rate of change in so many aspects of your life by opening the doors to other cultures, peoples and lifestyles. When we are in a different environment we feel more alive and aware of ourselves especially when being exposed to another culture. What a refreshing change it would be to experience and discover the French countryside, the wine regions of Bordeaux, the cafés on the French Riviera, the landscapes of Provence or the white-sanded beaches of Martinique. Think of the many amazing French-speaking countries and cultures that are waiting for you to explore to lose yourself or reclaim yourself.

As William Lyon Phelps wisely states, “The fear of life is the favorite disease of the 20th century“, I think this disease is prevalent in the 21st century. This article is just a whim, a message in the bottle for those of you who are willing to take the courageous leap into the ocean of life to wake up to life and feel the waves against your skin and taste the salt water on your tongue. Yes, change can be as elementary as learning a language such as French. Ultimately it boils down to you. You have to take charge and decide to take the first step and the many steps that follow towards self-fulfillment and a sense of purpose. Stop making excuses and start tomorrow. Now is the time to become a liver of life. Now is the time to learn French fast to get off your island and join the rest of the world.

Learning French in France – Why It’s not Necessarily the Best Way to Learn French

Learning French in France is a great thing to do and I wouldn’t want to put you off it for a second. There is perhaps no better way to improve your French than to be surrounded by the language and the sights and sounds of French life.

Paris, for example, is a beautiful city and you can imagine the joys of a French lesson followed by a walk along the Rive Gauche of the Seine, stopping at a riverside café for a coffee or a glass of something and just watching the people go by – to my mind it’s a marvellous way to pass an hour or two. What about Nice or Cannes? Places rightly renowned for their style and glamour. “Immersion Learning” is one of the current buzz-words when learning French so what better way to immerse yourself than to go to France?

If that’s the case, you might ask, why on earth would I suggest that learning French in France might not be the best way?

Well if you’ve got deep pockets then I’d thoroughly recommend it. As I said there’s probably no better way to improve your French. But the important word there is “improve”. If you haven’t got deep pockets and you’re just starting with learning French, I’d have to say there are not only much cheaper ways to learn but ones which, given your situation, are actually better for you, easier and will help you learn French faster.

The drawback with learning French in France if you’re just starting out is the pressure you’re almost certainly going to put on yourself. Many of us learn French long after we’ve left school, and we’re not all together comfortable with going back into the classroom situation. OK, you’ll be surrounded by like-minded individuals and it’s going to be a bit different to when you were fifteen, but it’s still a classroom.

On top of that, you will have travelled a long way and paid a considerable amount of money to be amongst four, six or eight people you probably haven’t met before and who almost certainly all have different levels of French language skills. It can therefore be quite difficult for the teacher to give you adequate attention and you won’t be able to get the best out of it. The result is that you might well feel dissatisfied with your progress, you’ll put more pressure on yourself and end up trying to study outside of class time when you should be enjoying the many pleasures and beauties of France!

Now if you’re thinking of going to France on vacation, don’t let me put you off in the least. You’ll get on better if you can speak a few words of French, but if you’re in one of the larger towns or cities you can probably get by just fine with English. Go, you’ll have a great time!

But if you’re thinking of learning French in France – and I mean going there specifically to study the French language – I’ll offer a small piece of advice if I may, as someone who’s been there and done it. Before you invest a thousand dollars there, invest a few dollars – and I mean around $100 – in a good home study course which gives you computer-based exercises, interactive games, written texts and MP3s that you can listen to at your PC or copy to a player to carry around with you.

Do that first, get a bit of a grasp of the basics, then go to France. Trust me, you’ll be so much better prepared and you’ll enjoy the whole experience so much more. As I said at the start, learning French in France is a great thing to do – a little work before you go can make it the trip of a lifetime.

Learn More About the Stars of Hollywood

Megan Fox was voted the Sexiest Woman in the World by avid readers of FHM Magazine through an online poll. She was in no. 68 slot in 2006 and no. 65 in 2007. She surely worked her way up.

Following her are Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel. She beat lots of big name beautiful and sexy actresses including Elisha Cuthbert and even Angelina Jolie, who they say she resembles the most.

She has started her career in modeling and acting but Fox’s got her big break when she landed the lead female role in the blockbuster movie Transformers. She already posed for big name magazine’s like FHM, GQ and Maxim.

Drew Barrymore is one of the Hollywood’s well loved actresses.

Her career started at the age of 7 in the movie E.T. Although she went into a rebellious stage in her teen years she was able to bounce back to become a one of Hollywood’s most recognized child actresses and producer as well.

She mostly stars in romantic comedy films like: The wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, Never Been Kissed etc. She has her own production company, the Flower Films which produced some of her movies.

After failed marriages and relationships, she is still enjoying her single life as well as becoming the World’s Most Beautiful in 2007.

On the 61st annual Cannes Festival held in France, the red carpet makes way for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

On the Kung Fu Panda’s press conference, some secrets between the movie’s main cast were spilled. First, Jack Black told the media that Bradgelina are expecting twins due this summer. Secondly, Dustin Hoffman is also claiming that there was a time when Angelina Jolie had to choose between him and Brad Pitt. Well. It’s clearly visible now whom Angelina choose.

The couple is expecting their twins to come due on August 19 this year. Yet she’s still hadn’t make-up her mind where to give birth but considering that France is a good place to conceive.

Since their adopted children (Maddox and Sahara) are now having French Lesson and additional Cultural Lesson so that they can learn about the family’s original culture. How cool can that be? The couple must be having their excitement double-up with the twins to add up to their family and Angelina Jolie is now very exhilarated.

There are also reports that the couple is considering to have more children after their twins. I just hope that they’re going to the knot pretty soon and not to be bounded by their responsibility to raise-up her children with Brad Pitt.

The 7th season of American idol is now coming to its climax this 3rd week of May. We all know that the show has produced many singing sensations of this generation.
