Anna Chan: Grammy award winning singer Norah Jones brings a musical touch to her big screen debut in “My Blueberry Nights.” Norah Jones talks about her struggles and fears related to her first big screen appearance. Norah Jones is set to star in Wong Kar Wai’s new film ‘My Blueberry Nights’ due for release this April 4. The Grammy-winning singer says she relied on improvisation as much as the script when filming. A great supporting cast helped as well. This is Wong Kar Wai’s first film in English. It is a rich and deeply visual story of losing and finding love filmed across the United States. The decision to do a film in English came after Wong hand picked Jones to star in a film. Attracted by Jones’ looks and cinematic voice, Wong approached her for the film without having met her and in spite of her lack of acting experience.
