Nizan Guanaes (Salvador, 9 de maio de 1958), publicitário baiano, fundador da holding Ypy – renomeada ABC -, que conta com as agências Africa, e é acionista das agências DM9DDB, Loducca e MPM, além de atuar, através de outras empresas, nos segmentos de Serviços Especializados de Marketing (below-the-line) e Conteúdo. Nascido na capital baiana, Nizan é filho de uma engenheira e de um médico. Administrador formado pela Universidade Federal da Bahia, começou a carreira em Salvador, na DM9, de Duda Mendonça, como estagiário. Transferiu-se para Artplan, na década de 80. Já trabalhou ao lado de Washington Olivetto na W/Brasil, antes de fundar a DM9 em São Paulo, com João Augusto Valente. Sob seu comando, a DM9 se transformou numa das maiores agências do país (e uma das mais premiadas). Venderia sua parte da agência para a DDB Needham, em 1997, tornando-se DM9DDB. Nizan foi o fundador do portal iG e se manteve no comando da empresa por dois anos.
