Is Cannes a good place to live?
Hey everyone!
I live in Canada right now and when I’m older I wanna get out of here!
Is Cannes, France a good place to live if I ever move there?
Is there also lots of English over there, not only French in the city? (not including tourists)
Can you live there and have a job if you don’t know French? (fluent french)
Are there any natural disasters (hurricanes, lots of rain, tsunamis, earthquakes)
Is there health care in France once you live there?
Is there lots of crime and drugs in Cannes?
Is there any English schools other than only French? (immersion, only English)
Will I lose my home language if I live there? (Serbian)
Sorry for all the questions, but thank you!

hello, there is some english speaking persons in Cannes, but cause it’s a city which works with international population, and a lot of very rich people lives here.
If you don’t speak french, it will be impossible to work here, except maybe in only international businesses.
no natural disasters here, except this year 3 inches of snow for a day! the city was paralysed!
french health car is by far the best in the world !
Cannes is mostly a safe city, some pickpockets during the film festival.
there is english schools
nobody lose his native langage!
good luck
wilyag is right, i used to live in Arles, about 3 hours far away but my grandfather has an apartment in Cannes and it is a good place to live, but you need to learn how to speak french though. and if you are Serbian, you night meet some Serbian there.
I dont think there is a lot of drug problem in Cannes at all, because the city is very rich in itself, but i mean if you want to find some hasish or marijuana, well you’ll find some haha

I live in Antibes and work in Cannes
