Maternity Clothes to Get You Through the Pregnancy Summer Blues

Provence, a Region for Inspiration

Since the 19th century, southern France, especially the Provence-Alpes-Cote dâ??Azur region has inspired many famous painters. It attracts for its various landscapes, rich colours and particular light. Thanks to its unic cultural wealth, the French Riviera was a special place for liberty and experience. Lots of artists gather in artistsâ?? studios in Antibes, Cagnes-sur-Mer and Saint-Paul-de-Vence.

Van Gogh, Picasso, Chagall, Monet, Renoir, but also Dufy, Matisse, Cocteau, Bonnard, Soutine, Derain, Cross, Boudin and Peynet immortalized the Provence and the Cote dâ??Azur during their stays or during their lives there.

The impressionists Cézanne, Monet, Degas and Renoir were very much inspired by the region. Renoir and Monet are the impresionnists who painted Provence the most. In Cagnes sur Mer, Renoir painted Paysages des Collettes, in 1914 and La Ferme des Collettes, in 1915. He was also inspired by the picturesque village of Lâ??Estaque, near Marseille and painted Lâ??Estaque. The village also inspired Braque, Derain and Dufy. As for Monet, he painted the town of Antibes (Antibes effet d’après-midi, 1888 and Antibes vue de la Salis, 1888).

Cézanne in Aix-en-Provence

Cézanne was born in Aix-en-Provence. He was really in love with his native region, which much marked himself and his work. He lived in Paris and Auvers-sur-Oise but every time he returned to his homeland, which much inspired him. He painted the Ste Victoire Mount around 80 times, but also the surrounding countryside, seaports, stone quarries and on cold days, he realised many still life paintings. The Bathers (les Grandes Baigneuses), one of his famous paintings aroused Picasso and Matisseâ??s interest. Cézanne lived and worked in Aix en Provence over a period of forty five years. According to him, â??there are treasures to be taken away from [France], which has not yet found an interpreter worthy of the riches it offersâ?.

Van Gogh in St Rémy-de-Provence and Arles

Van Gogh arrived in Arles in 1888, intending to found a utopian art colony. He began painting local scenes and landscapes. Before coming in the region, his painting was very dark, as many Dutch paintersâ??. In St Rémy de Provence, he introduced more colours in his work, as his famous painting The Sunflowers, for instance and can attest. Compare for instance the 1885 painting The Potato Eaters and the 1888 Bedroom, or the 1888 Yellow House, the property he rent during his stay Arles. Yellow meant to Van Gogh hope and friendship. Even when he painted the night, the result was much colourful during his time in Provence. The Starry Night (1889) and The Café Terrace on the Place du Forum at Night are amazing examples. After Van Goghâ??s demand, Gauguin joined him in Arles and they painted together. They painted the Alyscamps in Arles. Van Gogh went for walks in the surrounding countryside and became soaked with images of olive trees, wheatfields and cypresses, which he introduced in his works.

Picasso in Antibes

In 1939, Picasso stayed a few months in Antibes, on the Cote dâ??Azur. He was lent a room in the Grimaldi Casle and Museum, which made him very much enthusiastic and willing to decorate the castle with his paintings. This joy appears in the work he produced in Antibes, such as La Joie de Vivre. There, he created several drawings and paintings, namely The Keys of Antibes, Peche de nuit à Antibes, Woman with Sea Urchins, etc. When he left, he gave his works to the Antibes town. But Picasso was also inspired by the village of Mougins, near Cannes and painted Paysage de Mougins II in 1965.

Matisse in Nice and Vence

Matisse, Picassoâ??s friend and rival, spend several years in Nice and Vence, where he discovered the â??Mediterranean lightâ? in 1898. The first month he was in Nice, it rained all the time. When he decided to leave the town because of the bad weather, the wind had cleared the sky and let the sun shine. He knew he would see this wonderful light every morning and eventually changed his mind and stayed in Nice for a long time. There, he painted among others Self-portrait, My Bedroom in the Beaurivage and The Open Window. It was for him a period of uninterrupted hard work. He was very much inspired by the city and its narrow balconies overlooking onto the sea and the local architecture. He loved the silvery light, the lively colours and the plunging perspectives of the city. He also painted the frivolities of life, like colourful parasols, shoes, hats and the current fashions women make up.

Chagallâ??s paintings Couple au-dessus de Saint Paul and La Table devant le Village show the Provencal village of St Paul-de-Vence.

Dali in Monte Carlo

Dali stayed in the Cote dâ??Azur several times during his life. Strangely, only his famous Cadillac car (exhibited at the Gala-Dali Museum, in Spain) shows a link between him and the region, as it is registered in Monte Carlo.

I got a Pearl for Christmas and by February I be having troubles. My phone does 4 (abnormal) things: 1) Freezes intermittently when I try to a) open applications resembling my camera or my address book and b) when I send or delete text. 2) The red ‘alert’ light is other on, even at full battery. 3) The roller bubble sometimes doesnt roll, or I can only scroll contained by one direction. 4) When I play brick breaker the game will skip and the bubble will change location lacking notice (not a big deal) I enjoy a memory card and I delete texts and emails recurrently. I do not have plentiful pictures either, give or take a few 10. I have removed the mobile both when the phone is on and off, adjectives that happens is the phone take a long time to turn on again. I only charge my phone when it get low (around 20%), and it is in a protective bag. I have never dropped it or gotten it damp, and I routinely check for dust. Its my last resort to walk to the cell store since its always a nightmare! Any beneficial ideas are treatment!

HID xenon conversion kits trouble shootings and solution

HID installation trouble shooting and solution

1. Questions: The HID kit work normally after installation, but the instrument panel display “warning”.

(For example: Audi A4 1.8T, 06 BMW, near Sagitar, Mai Tang, Rui-ming, Fox, near Volvo, Peugeot 206, etc.)

Principle: The original car is 50W to 60W, but the HID kit is 35W, some luxury cars have the On-Board PC Diagnostics system (EOBD System), and the EOBD will detect the “power does not match”, So bring on the “warning” or radiation interference when light turn on.

Solutions:

Using the special relay harness with resistance (25W) can solve the problem, 25W+35W,it is just 60W, the power match with the cars, then the kit will pass the EOBD check. Replacing the 50W bulb and 50W ballast, it also can solve the problem. Using special ballast; install the anti-jamming device

2. Questions: After installation, the car PC panel damaged by the electromagnetism interfere circuit.

For example: Buick LaCrosse, Buick Lu respect, the modern Royal Cheung Premium, coupe, Grand Cherokee

Principle: The car use a special electronic circuit board, it is susceptible to interfere, After install HID kit, the circuit board easy damage or light “flicker” or go out.

Solutions:

It is solved by the special ballast with the Dedicated circuit configuration. install the anti-jamming device

3. Questions: after installation the bulb will appear the hard flashing, or often off, or the two bulbs not bright at the same time and so on.

For example: 06 BMW X5, 3251,5201, Mercedes-Benz S350, S500, Land Rover, BMW 3 Series, etc.

Solutions:

Show headlamps current line of work are normal. Adding install the special decoder which solve the hard flash and lacking of current. Has been successfully resolved the case:

A, Ford B, Skoda C, the general public from Yu D, Sagitar E, Mai Tang

3. Show headlamps line whether there is traffic through the computer, if passing ,decoders needed to be dedicated in order to return to normal. (The company Mercedes-Benz, BMW and other special decoder)

4. Questions: Because of H4 H/L is the light need match with dozens of headlamps assembly, the difference of lampshade will make the difference focus effect, so it is possible that the low beam or high beam will astigmatism after installation, please communicate with driver and tell the turth.

Such as:1. Polaris own the bad focus, it is suggest that replacing the assembly or special Polaris H/L from the factory.

Hyundai Tucson, it must use the special H/L which own the shortest base. Old GL8, Mitsubishi, Pajero, Swifts, Blue bird all being astigmatism, must use special H4 H/L bulb.

5. Questions: The light detect circuit of 07 and 08 S350 MBZ,BMW 5 classic and 7 classic are the lasted kits, it would be better to install the special 50w bulbs and anti-interference ballast.

6. Questions: After installed the hid system ,when turn on the auto radio, there have the single interference problem while the lights in on.

Principle:the frequency singles in the hid ballast and auto radio are  incompatible .Sometimes the direction of the installed ballast also can lead to this problem.

Solution: Change the ballast position or adjust the ballast install direction can resolve the problem in some condition. Only shielded the ballast can resolve the single interference problem.

7. Questions: Just installed the HID system and everything works out fine with system ,but lately, it cann’t change light between high beam and low beam. After checking ,found the high beam fuse was blown. But the problem still up after changed the fuse when turn on the light.

Principle: Short circuit

Solution :

Firstly, Check the circuit carefully see weather there is any coating broken , disconnected ,connection wiring covered by the plasters or not and connected in the right line or not ,then remove and install a new ballast ,test and see weather still consist in the short circuit. If all above is fine then change the factory harness.

8. Questions: Some car moldes’ high beam after turn on for 10s ,one is on and the other is off.

Principle : Well,it occurred because of low current .As HID ballast need 8.5A or so to get start(then clam down to 3.5A or so in 1 or 2 min.),but most car original headlight circuit current was designed between 5.5A and 6.5A ,this bring the low current so that only 1 set HID  can get enough start current ,then the left 1 set is off .This situation would happened in some high-ends cars .

Solution :

add 1 set reply circuit, get the current directly from the car battery. Check the connect between ballast 12v input end and socket see weather there is any loose .The connect loose can lead to HID light in a low current when the car is running and shaking ,when the car is uphill and down hill for example. HID light is High Intensity Discharge Lamp , The ballast have an increase of high pressure protection circuit ,when in the abnormal situation , the ballast works fine but this kind of problem still insisted .Please feel free to send back the ballast to us for check and test .

9. Questions: Just installed a H4 H/L moving kit , one work ,the other doesn’t work but can moving.

Principle :This could happen when the grand connect condition is not good , Bad plug wire or Power Input Plug and Play in the wrong way.

Solution :Change the plug to the anti way.

10, Questions:  Hyundai Coupe, after installed HID kit, start up engine and turn on the light, the light will “flicker” or go out; But turn off the engine, then turn on the light, the light work normally.

Principle: After installed HID kit, the HID light can work normally when the engine turn off. Once start up the engine, the light will “flicker” or go out, the car gauges set’s displayed failure light at the same time. The reason is auto Headlamp control line need passed the “check” by car PC system, however the HID work principle and work power is different to Halogen lamp, so the “check” can’t get any signal of the HID kit, let’s the check failure.

Solution: Our company have design a specail Auto PC check relay harness, can be match with HID kit.

11, Questions: PASSAT, after installed the HID kit, the Auto CD audio will pause when change High beam and Low beam, why?

Priciple: The reason is the pulse-frequency which arise from start up the HID kit is same as car’s frequency, the pulse-frequency make the car receive wrong signal, bring on the CD audio is pause.

Solution: Our company was design a special ballast for the car electric PC system, the problem can be solve after install it.

12. Questions:  the lamp stock of BUICK EXCELLE is too small to put the bulbs in. how can I solve this problem?

Solution: Just drill the lamp stock to a bigger one ( Note: pls drilling with your hands pill the drill out, in case the residual powder would caused unnecessary trouble.

13. Questions:  Why the Low/high light can be lighted up but is unable to change reciprocally after I installed the Bi-xenon HID light on the Mazda M6?

Principle: this is resulted from faults in the electrical circuit.

Solution: firstly, check the circuit of the original headlights and the circuit of the input power of the ballast; if there is no problem with them. Then pls check out whether the fuse in harness and the car have been disabled by fusing. If all things go well, then pls just change the connector plugs, coz the connector plugs may be plugged-in in a wrong way

14. Questions:  How to adapt the light?

Solution: Firstly, park the car evenly about 10 meters away from the wall with its head right towards it (tips: you can make a note to ensure the accurate distance)

Note: To adapt the light, the car should be under the normal load standard without any additional load.

2. Turn on the light, pls notice the aperture which was projected on the wall, that is the basis for adapting. The distance from the midpoint between the two lights to the front tread  should be the same with the distance projected on the wall. Otherwise, the progress of adapting will have to be carried out according to the 3rd step;

 The distance between the central point of the right light to the ground should be the same with the distance between the central point of the right light to the projected shape on the wall. While, the distance between the central point of the left light should be 10CM higher than the that.

     3. adapting them in the same line. The light on the left should project straight forward, on the other hand, the light on the right can project to the right slightly. Coz it can brighten the road on the right hand and make you see more clearly especially it is foggy.

     4. pls cover one of the light with a piece of thick cloth so as to adapt effectively according to the changes of the light beam projected from one of the light. To do this, you will have to prepare 2 screwdrivers (one for adapting the height of light beam, and the other one for adapting the width of it)

15. Questions:  How to inspect the bulb be lighted up and what is the solution if it is unable to be lighten up?

Solution: The several reasons for why the bulbs can not be lighted up: the accumulator?ballast or bulb isn’t working anymore?the cable of power supplier or fuse is broken?imperfect connection with the power supplier? misconnecting with the poles of power supplier. According to these reasons, we can eliminate one by one.

check whether the bulb is workable.

If it is the problem with the bulb, the bulb will let out noise when it is connected with power (sometimes, there will be electrical sparkle inside of the bulb). If the ballast doesn’t let out any noise, that means the problem doesn’t lies in the bulbs.

check whether the ballast is workable.

start up the whole system with another ballast. If the bulb doesn’t light on, that means the ballast is unworkable.

check whether the poles is misconnected.

     Connect the poles the other way around, if the bulb still doesn’t light on, that means the problem doesn’t lies on this point.

check whether the fuse is disabled due to fusing.

This inspection can be carried out directly with your eyes, or with the help of a universal electric meter after pulling the fuse down.

check whether the accumulator is workable.

Replace another accumulator to see whether the bulb can light on. If the can not still, that means there is no problem with accumulator.

if it is still unable to check out the key problem after all the steps mentioned above, pls check the hook-up wire. Make sure all of them is correctly connected without any looseness on the point of connection. change another hoop-up wire

2 day visit to Cannes/Nice/Monaco?

Anyone know what would be the fastest mode of transport? We fly into Nice airport and are visiting on a Saturday(am) & Sunday(pm) in a few weeks. Is there a travelcard I can get for 48 hours? I’ve looked at travelsites, but as I don’t speak french, I have difficulty understanding them. Any help would be appreciated. Do you have any recommendations to have Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner in either of the above places, that has great views and not too expensive? What is the weather likely to be like? Thanks for your suggestions.

Diano marina/Genova/Italian Riviera weather in early Sept?

Can anyone help me please? I am kinda desperate.

Me and my hubby and 13 y.o. daughter want to go to Diano Marina, near Genova, Italy (near to the South of France/Monaco/Cannes etc,) from 30th August to 8th September.

It’s a good package with a popular Midlands Coach company, and it stops overnight in Dijon, which is fab coz it means no overnight coach travel – (been there done that yuk.)

But this is the only date left with them though that isn’t in mid summer. They have limited trips during the year (only about twelve…) And the two September ones (20th and 27th) are gone, as have the May and June ones… So we are left with the July and August ones only. I don’t want it to be TOO hot. Would anyone have any clues as to what temperature we can/should expect around that date??? What would the weather at the *end* of August, when this date is, be like?
