And I guess you could say the parents reaction of her short hair is one.
Juxtaposing basically means taking 2 or more images and creating another or higher meaning out of them…another image/meaning in mind etc.

It’s good and holds great juxtaposing imagery, is edited well and all the usual film making necessities but I don’t think it’s particularly special enough to have won. And there’s no need for the hostility either.

Did not deserve first prize. We all know cancer is dreadful and children are lovely and when the two meet it’s horrendous, but this does not merit winning one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. There are thousands of film makers who would give a child cancer to get noticed or win at that festival.
