Guillermo Del Toro said that the fantasyworld isn`t only Ofelia`s imagination;the fantasyworld does exist. In the ending, Ofelia does actually live in the world (where she would be more happy to live in than the real world)
del Toro was asked to direct The Chronicles of Narnia:The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe but turned it down for El laberinto del fauno. In addition to Narnia, the film has also been compared to films such as Bridge to Terabithia and Labyrinth. Del Toro himself has noted similarities with The Spirit of the Beehive.
The film premiered at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. El laberinto del Fauno has won numerous international awards, including three Academy Awards, the Ariel Award for Best Picture and the 2007 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long form.
The Observer, labeled El laberinto del Fauno as the best film of 2006, describing it as «an epic, poetic vision in which the grim realities of war are matched and mirrored by a descent into an underworld populated by fearsomely beautiful monsters.»

I heard that Claude LeLouche did a film anonymously, and when the audience was told that he was the director, they stood and clapped for about 10 minutes. What is the name of that movie that he directed anonymously? And can you please paste a link to see a video of the 10 minute standing ovation or pictures of it?

okay so i was looking at the pictures of the Cannes Film Festival and jude law and norah jones were together in every pic. never apart and i know they are in a movie together but is there something going on between them.
in my opinion they look very nice together.
